exercise bike
Best answer for Which exercise bike should i get?:
Answer by Summer To be honest all those bikes have pretty similar features and they are very similar in price. The only thing to separate them really is the look of the bikes and based on this i would probably go for the Free Spirit®/MD. All of them have good and necessary features though such as speed, calorie, distance, time etc monitors, and this is the main feature in the choice.

My mom hates to exercise, she has a stationery bike and a stairmaster, but she only uses them in short? Question by SD
increments, say, she will pedal for 2 minutes and stop and then do it for another two minutes an hour later. If she does this 5 times a day, is she getting the same benefit as someone who stays on for a good 10 minutes at a stretch?
Best answer for My mom hates to exercise, she has a stationery bike and a stairmaster, but she only uses them in short?:
Answer by S.K. In terms of calories burned, yes, the benefit is the same, but in terms of cardiovascular fitness, the benefits are less. The total work-out time of ten minutes is not really adequate for much in terms of either fitness or calorie burn.
As a fellow mom who also hates to exercise, at least with much intensity, can I suggest you suggest to your mom to try walking instead? Walking briskly for a half hour a day, or for an hour several times a week, is a lot less awful to me, enough that I can do it week in, week out.
Getting an exercise bike this weekend, help? Question by
So I’ve been doing some exercises lately and not eating much, I lost 8 kilos in less than 45 days.
After that, i kinda got bored with the physical exercises and went away from this whole fitness world.
I didn’t do any workouts for a month but my weight still the same.I really wanna get back on track, so I’m buying this weekend an exercise bike, I love it so much and i never get bored of it.
So what do you think is it a good idea?
Do you have any exercises that i can do daily after working on it??
How long should i workout daily with the bike ??
Thank you so much.. and yeah I’m 17 y o guy.
Best answer for Getting an exercise bike this weekend, help?:
Answer by severus You will want to know the target heart rate for your size and age. Once you determine that, maintain at that rate for at least 20 minutes. The total time is 30 minutes every other day. You allow five minutes at a slow rate before and after the workout. This is the warm up and the cool down phases. There should be information that comes with the bike. For after the work out, do household chores like moving furniture and vacuuming, washing walls and shower tiles.
Issues with the Schwinn 202 Recumbent exercise bike.? Question by blibit
My parents have owned one of these contraptions for about 2.5 years now and used it rarely.
Recently my father attempted to use it but the computer did not start up thereby preventing full usage.
I have called several places but nobody can seem to give me a straight answer.
If anybody here knows or can find something to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
Exercise bike feedback? Question by Carly Y
I am 5’0”. 18 years old. 29 weeks pregnant. It’s almost summertime; I want to be confident in my shorts in the hot weather. I have always been between 130 & 135 pounds since I was about 15/16 years old. I am rather gifted in the thighs/butt/breast departments. My stomach has never really eben a problem, just the thighs & butt. I would like to start using my exercise bike to tone my legs & butt up, even though I’m pregnant. My doctor says this is perfectly safe and healthy for me because I have no complications wiht my pregnancy except I have gained maybe 5 lbs too much for how far along I am & my height/weight… I am just wonderin gif anyone else has had success on toning/losing fat inches off their thighs/butt using an exercise bike(pregnant or not)??
